Acumatica Summit 2025 Day 1 Keynote Highlights
Even though this is the last year that the Acumatica Summit will be held in Las Vegas, this is just the beginning for some very new and exciting things coming to Acumatica ERP.
Each year in January, customers, prospects, partners, and the Acumatica team come together for an annual event focused on celebrating achievements and learning about what’s on the roadmap ahead. This years’ summit has over 3,500 attendees, more than 90 breakout sessions, an expansive marketplace, and a variety of social events.
Chief Executive Officer, John Case, kicks off the keynote with Acumatica’s 2025 theme of the year - performance. He explains that everyone’s’ definition of performance is different and the goal of Acumatica ERP is to help you reach your desired level of performance. The discussion of performance provided a fitting transition to highlight Acumatica’s professional athlete sponsors. Acumatica continues to have a strong relationship through sponsorship with professional golfers, Jessica Korda, Lilia Vu, and racecar driver Scott Mclaughlin.
A recent SMB Group Study asked tech spend buyers what they value in the business tech products they purchase. Acumatica has taken the results of that study to better deliver what buyers are looking for. The top five prioritized capabilities of buyers are industry specific functionality, pre-built integrations, fully enabled mobile, incorporated AI, and SaaS model.
Success in numbers
Thousands of customers joined Acumatica in the past year
Acumatica customers recorded record renewal rates
A projected $500B in transactions through the Acumatica platform in 2025
2024 Q4 recorded 800M screen loads of Acumatica, up 33%
The Acumatica ecosystem keeps growing in a variety of ways, adding new board members, new VARS, and new and strengthening integrated relationships including, ADP, Shopify, and Bill.
Based on the strength and growth outlined above, key industry analysts and Acumatica users continue to recognize Acumatica as THE leader in the mid-market space, specifically gaining multiple awards from G2 and Gartner.
By listening to customer feedback, Acumatica has been able to take a pragmatic approach to data and AI/ML. This means that Acumatica is building new and exciting AI technology directly into existing workflows while maintaining their founding principles of security and customer data ownership. Acumatica AI is being used to solve real world problems and will be a highly covered topic during the summit breakout sessions.
New Chief Engineering Officer, Miten Mehta, discusses a deeper look into Acumatica’s AI vision and demonstrates a new interactive tool that every user can benefit from. Mehta outlines the 3 goals Acumatica has when designing AI tools and features:
Intelligent Advisors - for example, anomaly detection
Automation
Interactive Assistants
During the first feature demo at this years summit, Mehta logs into the Acumatica platform and there’s a new chat button in the top menu bar. When clicking on this, the new AI assistant chat window pops up. For the demo, “What is our sales performance today” is typed in and within a matter of seconds, the chat window pulls up a quick summary of the desired data and provides a link to view that data in more detail or charted out. If you’re looking for a more detailed breakdown, you can follow up by typing “net sales by customer” and that data will also be displayed in a matter of seconds.
The applause from the crowd indicates this tool may be incredibly helpful and save a lot of time. While not widely available yet, the version that was shown during the keynote was live in trial mode, meaning users should have access in the not to distant future.
Reminding us of the true meaning of Acumatica’s rally cry - “Building the future of business, together”, is Sanket Akerkar, Chief Revenue Officer. The Acumatica community is an ever growing and evolving ecosystem of partners, users, and developers working together to provide each other value by learning, solving, and co-creating.
This is made possible by user groups, on-site customer visits, and the online Acumatica community site. As of 2025, the Acumatica community platform has over 30k active users and has given Acumatica developers over 580 ideas for new technology and functionality. A majority of the new features in every release has been born from the ideas of end-users.
Danielle Kerner, Director of Partner Sales, gives an update on the ‘Acumaticares’ program. This program aims to ensure Acumatica is fostering an inclusive environment. One example of this is Acumatica’s ‘Women in Tech’ program. This program offers webinars and forums throughout the year to help women in the tech industry network, learn, and boost each others successes. 2025 marks the 8th annual, highly anticipated, Women in Tech luncheon during Summit. Another facet of the ‘Acumaticares’ program is their conscious effort toward environmental sustainability practices.
The keynote winds down with CEO, John Case, coming back on stage to recap what was discussed. Before sending everyone off to their breakout sessions, it’s announced that next years’ summit will be held in Seattle, Washington. The new venue allows for this event to continue to grow and it will be held from January 25th to the 28th in 2026.
