Acumatica Summit 2023 Day 2 Keynote
The Acumatica Summit Day 2 Keynote is all about innovation and new product functionality.
As the Chief Product Officer, Ali Jani opens this keynote talking on the successes of Day 1. He notes many prospects coming up to him saying they never realized how deep the capability of Acumatica is until attending this event. Acumatica Summit is the time to showcase the features of the newest release, 2023 R1. This release is based on customer-driven innovation.
Throughout this presentation it is very clear that most, if not all, of these improvements are designed from customer need. Vice President of Product Management, Doug Johnson, is welcomed on stage to introduce the themes of the latest update as well as a few new features that all Acumatica users can take advantage of.

Working more efficiently
A more forgiving system (miss-clicks, ect)
Easier to access data
Less clicks to complete an action
One crowd pleasing update is the ability to reassign approvals to other coworkers. This is a great tool to utilize if you’re on vacation, out sick, or even off at Summit.
Industry Updates:
Following Doug Johnson, the Directors of Product Management for Manufacturing, Construction, Distribution, and Retail-Commerce each hosted a portion of the keynote speaking on each industry edition updates. One overarching theme throughout the industry updates is that users can see and access more of their information on the screens they use the most.

Ali Jani returns to the stage to close out the Day 2 Keynote. He reiterates the highlights of 2023 R1 and announces the beta will be ready for download Thursday, February 2nd but the full release will not be available until April. We can also look forward to a new program called “Acumatica Payments”, coming later this year.
The 2024 Acumatica Summit will be held from January 28th to the 31st at the Wynn Hotel.
