FAQ Friday - 8.23.2019

For this #FAQFriday, we chose the question:

“What’s a VAR and why are they important?”

When trying to fit an answer in a limited character space, we thought this would be better answered as a blog post.

So what is a VAR? A Value Added Reseller is a company that not only resells software, hardware, and networking products, but offers value even after the system has been implemented. A VAR helps make the implementation process smooth and provides assistance and training after the system is in place.

When looking for a VAR, you should find a company that cares about you and your requirements. At Hudson River Computing, we treat your business like our own and we work with you from across the table. A long history of experience is usually a good sign too. With over 25 years of business, HRC has over 375 successful implementations. We should also mention we are Acumatica’s local VAR of choice.

A VAR can also create the connection between your IT staff and C level staff when it comes to your business solution.

An ERP solution can help your business and operations tremendously but a supportive VAR can be the secret ingredient to your success.
